WTS provided RaceTech with a 10-camera HD OB vehicle incorporating multiple production areas that could be used for providing racecourse services such as finish-line coverage and live large-screen footage, as well as broadcasting.
This six-camera HD sports production vehicle with satellite uplink was built to enable WTS’ Paris-based French division to win a long-term contract to provide football coverage.
Video Europe commissioned WTS to design, coach-build and integrate this 16-camera HD project. Cutting edge technology was employed to deliver a truly versatile modern OB vehicle.
Built on a 10-tonne MAN chassis with custom coachwork from WTS, Rûdaw needed this production truck to be robust and capable of sustaining operations in Iraq’s varying climate.
Rûdaw needed two off-road-capable DSNG vehicles with the ability to accommodate three Triax cameras and one RF camera for news gathering and small productions.
SuperSport’s brief for their Kenyan HD OB system was to create a hybrid of OB truck and flyaway, with the flyaway able to be derigged from the vehicle for stand-alone use in remote locations, a concept the broadcaster had used in some older SD trucks.
Instead of the usual single-truck solution using articulated trailer-lorries, SuperSport wanted these systems designed around two smaller and more mobile rigid chassis trucks, able to join together once on location.
